The Big Wild Goose Pagoda （大雁塔）

In 652,the 3nd year of Emper Gaozong’s reign in the Tang Dynasty Xuan Zang, the famous monk made a report to the emperor,asking him to have the goose pagoda built.The project was started in early March and brought to a finish in Octcber,Having only five stories the initial pagoda had an earthen body with bricks applied on the out sides. From 701-704 during the emperss Wu Zetian`s reign she had the pagoda rebuilt into a tower-like seven storied brick pogoda, which has been kept as it is until now. Standing 64 meters high the pogoda is in a square conical shape with its bottom measuring 25 meters on all four sides and the length of platform 45 meters for each side.

T he Hua Qing Hot Spring（华清池）

Huaqing Pool is located at the foot of Lishan Mountain, about 35 kilometers east of Xian city. On arriving at the Huaqing Pool, one is struck by the distinctive features of traditional palaces of the Tang Dynasty. The palace is called Huaqing Pool because it has many pools and hot springs. Bridges and pools together constitute a most elegant palace. It was a rainy day when I went there and the whole palace was enveloped in mist: it made the scenery even more beautiful. It is famous for high-ranked imperial concubine Yang in Tang Dynasty.Yang Guifei was bathing in this place and was loved by the emperor, so he built a lot of beautiful and magnificant palace there!

The Mount Hua（华山）
